Mid-Columbia Interagency Wellness Program

People working in the field of law enforcement answer the call, over and over again, to help people through some of their toughest life experiences. In order to support them to bring the best version of themselves to the job everyday, the Mid-Columbia Interagency Wellness Program (MCIWP) supports access to things like free therapists specializing in supporting first responders, ongoing education, wellness activities, and highly trained peer support specialists. MCIWP provides support to Columbia River Inter-Tribal Police Department, City of The Dalles Police Department, Frontier Dispatch, Gilliam County Sheriff’s Office, Hood River County Sheriff’s Office, Hood River County 911 Dispatch, Hood River Police Department, Klickitat County Sheriff’s Office, NORCOR, OSP The Dalles Area Command, Sherman County Sheriff’s Office, Wasco County Sheriff’s Office, Wasco County 911 Dispatch, and Wheeler County Sheriff’s Office.
